Hi all, new to the forum, I have a 83 bg60 with the 3b. I am about do the leaf over lift, I was wondering if any of you have done this. Is there anything that i should watch out for, I am hoping the drive shaft wont have to be lenghend, but thats the biggest problem that I can for see. Thanks.

Plenty of people do spring overs, I have not, but would like to one day. Here is a pretty good write up for you, you can also look at the various "Rig of the Week" threads, a lot of them have SOA.

Umm, I think you mean BJ60. I'm rally happy with my spring over. I didn't have to do anything with my driveshafts. Do you have a front CV (double cardan) shaft?
If you do a search for "SOA", you will get mountains of info. Something you'll probably want to consider is re-gearing. I'm just installing 4.88's right now, although I did drive/wheel the truck for almost a year with 3.73's and 38" tires. Where are you located?
