Cody... that's the coolest thing I think I've seen this week.

Daryl,

Yes I do appreciate the way you have all handled this situation and the way you've represented the club through your actions. It's actually the reason I stepped in and posted here finally. I agree 100% that communication on this deal has seemed to suck hind tit from the begining. I also wish that there was something I could do to help move things along. It seems that the products are very good and stout once rec'd and deffinately worth the money, but the real question is are they worth the wait? I orginally planned to be in on this deal but the money wasn't quite right for me at the time so I bailed. Like I said earlier I don't know that I'd have had the patience of the rest of you at this point. Again, I'd just like to take a second as president of this club to thank you all for showing such face in this matter.

Jim,
I assume you're reading this. Whether you respond or not is your choice completely. I ask that you only let these guys know what kind of schedule they're up against. It's really that simple. We're all reasonable people here and I feel that these guys have proven that with their patience. Please just give them a REALISTIC idea of when this stuff will get done.

I want my sliders to have cat protection, but that's a bit much!:D:rolleyes:
Damn Cody, your welding skills are advancing nicely.

BMAN please clear your pm box slacker!

Easy install!

Ross and I just finished installing his. EASY. After reading stuff here from others who installed them first, Ross was a little aprehensive about the install. We agreed we should do the install here (my casa) in case we needed to cut/weld anything. No need to worry. Everything fit were it should, as long as you have a floor jack to help tweak a few spots.
They were no more difficult to install than my Slee sliders. Nice work Jim. Don't know if you planned this or not, but the passenger side middle arm was perfectly lined up with the Slee transfer case skid mounting arm. We removed the U-bolt from the skid and bolted the slider and skid together at that point. NICE!
The drivers side upper rear bolt was a little to close to the gas tank for comfort. We cut about 1/4" off the bolt and it's all good now.

My opinion: these are a good product and install is just as easy as Slee sliders. Good job Jim. The wait may be a little hard to swallow, but the product design is solid.

Sounds great and I'm looking forward to finally getting mine. From Jim's post in the vendor section today, and a prior PM from him, I believe the next set out is the 60/62 series sliders.:bounce::bounce2:

Hey Alvin, thanks for the help. After hearing about the 'fit' issues I thought it would be better to do it where I could do some cutting/welding if necessary.

As it turned out, damn easy. I had a harder time doing the O2 sensors than the sliders. I will say though the jack is necessary and the extra set of hands is helpful.

Shop closes for CM08

Jim,

The shop which will be receiving the sliders will be closed for CM08 from 4/26-5/5. Please time shipment accordingly. I would hate to see them shipped back to you.

Please note that this should not affect Daryl's sliders as he has his own shipping address.

Please post here if you have any questions.

Thanks
Jackson

Wondering who else is looking at this at a write off...

Uh, this is not a write off for me. $600 is serious business and frankly, I'm reaching the end of patience after 7 months and no committed schedule.

Jim - if you're out there at all, please confirm that I will either have my sliders or a full refund by May 31.

Thanks,
-Aron

Well, I for one have no idea what to do at this point... short of a convoy to go in search of our sliders or our money... :bang:

Ideas?

(...in this particular situation, my motto below seems to be failing me...)
