So what’s your Ouray plan? That sounds like an interesting idea. Our plan A was to get back home for a wedding I don’t want to go to. Maybe I could send the Fam back and I stay on Colorado till Sunday or Monday…...or Ouray, which is what I will be doing.
I’ll leave Breck Friday and stay in Ouray to Sunday. No trail plan as yet, but maybe Imogene Friday afternoon, pizza in Telluride then back to Ouray. Saturday I just want to explore as many of the Alpine Loop/adjacent trails as possible. Sunday back to Phoenix. So what’s your Ouray plan? That sounds like an interesting idea. I sent you a PM.Cody,
I had a conflict come up and want to give up my spot. I know there are only 50 spots available and the conflict just came up. Hopefully someone else can grab my place. Enjoy, all. Hate to miss this one.

I have the hotel reservation and no ticket. Can I call dibs?
Unfortunately, I dont think it would be fair to those waitlisted to do that. I am sure Cody has a list of folks for this event and as such, I leave that decision up to him and the planning group.I sent you a PM.![]()
I changed my lodging plans and had to cancel my site at Prospector - not sure if anyone was looking to camp here, but there should be one open spot now! (I'll be staying at a VRBO condo in Breck instead)I also booked Prospector - however the D loop was pretty much sold out for the entire week (some partial openings) but I was able to book 41-C instead.

Looks like Amphitheater only has FF sites left, so no reservation. 4J is down to 5 tent sites left. I didn't ask about RV sites. I'm going to reserve a tent site at 4J just so I have something. Not sure I want to rely on FF plus being essentially in town would be convenient.I’m now planning to head to Ouray Friday after LCDC. Seems like there is some interest in this from others attending LCDC. I’m starting to look at places in Ouray to camp figuring I need to reserve something soon. If anyone else is doing this, maybe we could get some 200s together.

Check Ridgway in Montrose. It's much larger and I think LCDC attendees will often camp there.
Amphitheater gets busy so even if you manage an FCFS site you might have to move :-/
After you turn off towards Amphitheater there are a couple boondock FCFS sites to the right IIRC. There's also some FCFS camping up Camp Bird Rd.
I reserved a tent site at 4J. It can be canceled up to a week ahead. They have a few camper sites left too.Decent dispersed camping spots off the Poughkeepsie Gulch trail if memory serves. I'll be staying at The Abram Inn, Friday to Sunday.
Restaurant stuff or trails or what? I probably have a few depending on what you’re looking forI'll be headed to DFW after Breck, any good things to check out or recommendations?
