Were you still able to use the underbody spare?

Nope. that spare (6th) wheel will go either on the roof top (roof rack :( ) or back inside the cargo area. And this is only for my 1+ day trips.. as the rear mounted spare wheel (5th) will always be there :)

Kingdom cops have been receiving their new 2013 batch of LC200's. most of them are GX variants, V6 manuals , but quiet a few are GX-R, V8 auto. few have been upgraded with after market winches but the most interesting and common upgrade is the nudge bar ! Unique - the two front vertical bars are thick rubber padded to perhaps push the other vehicle or ??? I kinda like it ? But don't know if this will seriously reduce the approach angle and will be , what is known commonly , a damage multiplier - any thoughts ?

Seems like it will reduce the approach angle as it is further ahead of the bumper. Might cause extra damage if it pushes through mounting points or bends will damage grill instead of just the bumper. Does a steel bumper affect registration in Saudi? Here you can't and these nudge bars aren't allowed either.

Ill try to post more pictures of how this bar gets mounted through the grill and under bumper. Haven't heard any thing with regards to affect on registration/yearly vehicle health clearance etc, by having these nudge bars or even full steel bumpers , ARBs etc. few guys I know, had their vehicle passed smoothly.

This arctic Nudge bar has been stuck in my head ever since I saw it - damage multiplier or not - ill get this or anything close to it any day :)

fxxx, that is such a badass 200 series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those bumpers look like the "SKAN" built police Ram Bumpers that are made in Riyadh, KSA.

They are a copy of an older Setina design - they are used to perform the PIT Maneuver.

I know - last yr when I was in Riyadh - I had to drive our MRAP down Qassim Highway from the air port to the Industrial area and even then I was worried about the early 90's chevy caprice classics running me off the road.

the reason I like the idea of the arctic truck one s that they attach their winch to the outside for easy on and off when not needed.

Thanks DN, those are TRD's 17" with Maxxis BigHorn 762 with size 275/70-17. Very happy from their performance. They float marvellous on sand but can also dig a ditch in few seconds if not careful with gas ;), Also got the modded BajaRack and bunch of LEDs all around.
