Just came back this eve from the dealer, and saw my new LC200 :bounce:, GXR-Winch variant. V8, 2 spare tyre, 2 diff locks and a Winch ! It took meticulous 2 month to get this model from the dealer [not sold commonly...], and i cannot wait for the paper work to finish and ride it over this weekend !! :) ...mod suggestions welcomed :) !!

Yes it is and the central diff (push button) is on the other side of the steering wheel. Desert Nomad posted zoom pics in his thread 'Hitting UAE desert'

hello congrats on the vehicle!! can you post some pics of the winch and how its attached in the front????
 
2 diff locks .. you mean front and rear or central and rear .?

Just curious coz I don't thing Mr. T offer any locker in any IFS 3rd ..

Well to be honest i don't know how to take off the Winch Cover :):bang:.. but below are the pics for you - the first is the original 2012 toyota winch - the same as mine - the other 2 pics are after mod winch placement in 2011 LC200, 2011 Tahoe. this has been done locally here.

Yes center and rear.
 
And.. my friend got his 2012 LC200 - Manual V6-GXR - today too.... :bounce::bounce2: called the Buraimi Specs (Oman). It has the sticker/strips, sunroof, parking sensors,metal door sills, 2 diff locks, winch, 1 spare tyre.

Mine is Saudi Specs - V8-GXR, without the sunroof and parking sensors etc.. I will upload more pics later :)

Can you spot the differences :)

I saw them both today and I must admit they were tempting me away from my decision to buy a 76 series, but I think I'll stay with the 76 for now...... I think

We couldn't figure out how to remove the winch cover when I was there but I am very interested in seeing the winch. It was not a Warn, but had the same contact leads on the remote connector. But the remote indicated that it was made in Japan and seemed to have a high build quality. Maybe it's just the remote that is built in Japan? I am not aware of any Japanese winch manufacturers.

I really wish toyota would try offering a similarly equipped 200 in the US. I think a cloth seat, center and rear locker, 4.6L v8 specced 200 for under US$60k out the door would sell well.
 
Thanks for the pics but what I wanted to see is how it mounted to the frame! If you have time can you take a pic from under neath or with the hood up??? No need to take pic of the winch just want the mounts !! Thanks a bunch. If the are Toyota parts it would be very easy to attach! Thanks again very interested
 
Posted some additional pics here http://goo.gl/qpa95 - Winch is factory installed. I'll see if i can find part numbers for it.

It is factory accy install--approved by Toyota but not installed in factory.

That said, getting these parts would be impossible in the US. These are not live part numbers.

You could get them from the Middle East or other areas where the winch was an option.

Part number for the winch assy: 38110-60290
 
Just intalled mine

I have installed a hidden winch in my 08 LC 200, Im currently in Mexico and mounting base was unavailable, I managed to buy it in Spain from a company that designs and builds 4x4 accesories. It look and works just great, the selonoid box is temporarly outside, however the plug will be installed in the bumper and the box under the hood. Im also waiting for the license plate cover that will conceil the roller and be almost as OEM
i cant upload any pics as it seems im cap on the total size i can post, so if anyone can upload them for me i can send them by email

didnt quite get it...you are talking about the winch cover? plastic?
