LC200 Going Crazy

Hi guys,

This is my first post so bare with me. I own a 2008 LC200 Diesel AT and it has around 90k with no problems.

Since last week, I was getting two light bulb errors, one check engine and one 4LO. When this happens, it goes into limp/safe mood. This occurs when 4LO isn't engaged.

I took it to the dealership and they claimed that there is a problem with the turbo sensor which requires me to change both turbos for $6,000. I personally feel it's just software as it was driving fine before. It's stock and has never had any aftermarket parts.

I attached a photo for your to check the errors on the dashboard.
If you have any clues on what to do, please help and let me know.

did you where driving/pushing hard ( towing or something like ) when that happen .?

It just starts to happen after a bit of regular driving. Once I turn it off for a bit it clears and then re appears again.

Its a long long long shot - but see if you can swap out the battery. I had a few in Iraq that had a dead cell (or what ever its called in a battery) and you would get random problems like that - including only the driver side a/c working and not the passenger side.

If there any kind of electrical fault you will be amazed at what will go wrong

The best place for you to get help would be to join the Australian board lcool.org. This forum mainly deals with the US model which does not come with a diesel. Also there are many more 200 owners on there than here.
