I see you blocked out the license plate. Slick. I've never seen that one before and you'd figure with all of us that run that area back and forth from our houses that we would have seen that at least once or twice. Maybe it's an out of towner. Cool rig though.

I know I'm always in that area. I'll look again today. Its good to see rigs like this one. Its all stock from what I can tell. :)

LOL, that too but I was trying to be curtious and not broadcast their plates for those crooked folks that might happen to see it. You never know what type of folks might find their way in here :ban:

i was talking to my a friend that works at Acadiana Dodge and he said the boss man just pick up a super clean FJ40 from somewhere in AZ i think. im going to try to get more info but if he's in to cruisers he's got good tasted

Thats awesome Bam, get his info and tell him where to find us. We could use some Acadiana Dodge perks. If a diesel dually could go out for a test drive every now and then over the weekend that would be sweet. It would be back on the lot for Monday monring. :D

I passed around that area this morning and didn't see it. I'd like to track him down though. The pics look good.

I think a "car show" type event one weekend would be a good way to draw out a lot of Cruisers from the area. If we ran some adds for a month or so and put it on the community calendars on the news and newspaper, I bet we could draw out a lot of folks. It would then be a matter of where to host it. Maybe that April show at Musson or one closer in. Heck, I was even impressed with City Park in New Iberia. Something to get all Cruiser owners out to show off their rigs. We could even have a competion - best stock rig in class; best modified rig, etc...

Did Adrian Sr. get it or did Mickey? I have some direct links to those two and can chat with them if need be. I believe Adrian has a ranch out in Texas still and I'd bet that's what it is for.

Not sure if its SR or Mickey.

I saw an early 70s fj40 tucked in a carport in a subdivison off I49 didn't get to stop boss was in the truck but it look green are really dirty blue. i ask my boss about it and he said he knows the lady and will ask her about it and let me know. The other guy with us said it has not moved in at least 15 years. I'll keep yall posted

Nice find, I'd like to see it. :bounce:

Anybody know or ever talk to the older guy with the Green FJ40 that lives off Ambassador going back in to Fernwood? I followed him home one day just to see where he lived. I've been b ythere so many times just checking on it that I could find the place blindfolded. It seems like I asked someone about htis vehicle before and I was told that he was a professor or teacher. Who knows, I may be thinking of some other cruiser owner. I am beginning to exhibit signs of Alzheimer's.
