I have been on here off and on but never put up the particulars of gloria. I have had her for almost a year. I traded a bulletbike I had for her straight accross as a partial done project. She remains partially done. But driveable of course. I named her gloria because I thought it was an excellent name for a pig.

75 FJ-55
350 with aluminum intake, cammed, carter 750 carb, centerforce clutch, rams horn exhaust manifolds to duals with a little bit too short glasspacks (cherrybombs that are temporary) that feed into a sm465 to np 204 to toy 4sp. case to stock axles slowed by rancho 9000's with caddy rear disc's and chevy 1/2 ton disc's in front 1.5 inch spacers holding 38x15.5x15 siped tsl radial swampers on 15x12 rock crawler steelies, extensive fender trimming and tubbing, custom bumpers front and rear, the front holding an old 8274 that I have to wiggle the plug to get it to work and the rear holding a tire swing out from ironpigoffroad with hi-lift mount. Because of the heaving tubbing in the rear the interior is unfinished fron the front seat back. But here she is.
I almost flopped her in 2 of these pic's but some tree's/brush caught me. the anglefinder thing on the dash maxed out at 45 degree's sideways. I was very puckered.
I'm gonna have to get a lesson from andre how to manage attachments and stuff. I have too many pic's on there. My pic's are on wayneraintree's thread about 38's on a 55. I apologize. Not so smart. I guess my question is after I download them on the attach files thing I erase them to download different ones and they stay on that thread I downloaded them on?

Linking the pics from Wayner's thread.. I have driven this piggie, love it.. Mean mean pig. Nice and low and squat with a ~5" SUA lift, trimmed up fenders, 38's, doubler... Mean sounding with the V8 of course, real beast/workhorse.. I believe the trimming done by a PO? Even though its low, it actually doesn't look odd at all IMO, good looking big ass 55 :)

correction. My bad. It has a np203 not a 204.

almost forgot

I completely forgot to mention it has a power steering set up of a scout box and crossover.

that is one bad ass pig.. amazing how many pigs are built these days!

Did your 55 drive out of that lean in the picture? That is one thing I dislike about the topheavy pigs, makes me nervous sidehilling too...

Pucker Factor

The inclinometer in my pig is a piece of pooey but it was quite the angle. I was way nervous and walked around it for like ten minutes wondering what to do. There was nothing to winch off of it was a pretty exposed hill with brush in growing in patches intermittently and a very long way to the bottom. I was climbing it in just single low and went almost to the top but started to spin because it was wet. So I quickly shifted into reverse to use the compression braking going backwards when the toy t-case suddenly popped into neutral. Slammed on the brakes slid sideways then hit the tree's. To get it out I stood on the edge of the door jamb hanging out with the door open reaching in to bump the starter a touch at a time and pulled forward and downhill while the tree's held me up til I was pointed downhill. An awful long explanation for not a big deal. I wish I had more pic's but I don't have a camera. I use the one on my phone sadly.......
