Are all service parts available for this axle?

For Sale - [OH] Full Floater Axle with Disc Brakes (70-series)

Anything I should know if I am considering putting this into my FJ45LV (FJ40) other than needing to move the spring perches, dealing with the parking brake cable and getting the proper lines and pressure set up for the disc brakes?

Thanks,
Mark

I have the same axle stock in my HZJ77 and have already replaced seals, pads, disks, and callipers. All were readily available. Some components are shared with other models offered in NA so even Napa can get you some items. Terrain Tamer seems to offer the better product though.

The e-brake on the other hand, trying to replace the pads is difficult to source and extremely expensive. (only found one quote and it was either $400 or $800) Open to hearing if anyone else has a reasonable source for the pads.

Do you have OEM part number?

Got your back, Ward. One of the shoes has part number 46540-60040 and is listed as being used on various HZJ and FZJ75 built from 92 - 7/99. This number crosses to the USA model Sequoia from 01 to 05.

The rear shoe out the pair is different, number is 46540-60050 and is used in 95 - 97 80 Series and the 100 Series. So you need to buy each shoe individually, not as a full set. The other side has different numbers that correspond to the same vehicles.

Thanks, Brian. Georg has four 77s that he is looking after, will have him jump in after the holiday.

Here are the numbers I come up with. PLEASE verify for yourself, or maybe Ward can come up with a kit?
RH front shoe 46540-60040
RH rear shoe 46540-60050
LH front shoe 46580-60040
LH rear shoe 46550-60050

There are two different parking brake configurations. In order to get it right the first time you will need to know exactly what the donor was.
