last nght meeting with new info

ok here is the info we talked about last night at the meeting.
it looks like i got the date wrong on this http://canyonsoffroad.com/. i was thinking we could hit this park 6-24-13 but thats monday and there not open. the next time there open is the 15th. i will be out of town that weekend. so its a no go from me. we could try and make a day run out to hidden falls around the end of the month if ya'll like.

but with that seed. i will be going down to rockport,tx to go fishing. if any one wants to join us. there are a few motels that are cheap and clean. i like the sportsman manner it's on the water and it cost around 50bucks a night for a big two bed. room. at least that is what i paid in the winter. there is a beach in rockport for the kids to go to if you want to bring the family. rockport is about 15min north of port A so for those that want to hit port A can do so.

we also talked about trying to set up a port A run. if any one wants to do a run down on the beach in port A. lets start planning a date.

lastly we will be holding a shop work weekend here at the shop on 6-8-13 thats two weeks away. so if you can make any of these please reply so i know.

you bring your own parts you can use my tools as long as they get put back clean & you do your own work. some folks can't work on there rigs at there house so this give them a place to do small jobs that can't be done at home. it also is a good time to hang out cook some food and BS.
we have done this a few times over the years. i don't try and push my shop on to the folks just trying to help out. it's been fun in the past come by and hang out or do an oil change or what ever. i plan on cooking and doing a lot of bsing 9hope more bsing then work).

yes come on. i will be here by 10am. planing on doing some pit food (burgers, dogs) looks like i will be taking down a 1fz-80 engine to get it ready for a rebuild. i think Hunter is going to start pulling the motor out of his 4 runner, some one is doing a snorkle install, i'm sure there will be lots going on. if you or any one comes. bring drinks for your self along with some thing to put on the pit. i will have extra's but not sure how much i will have.

I want to thank Edwin, Shawn, Hunter and everyone else that was there to guide and help me through the snorkel install today. I can definitely say I never want to do that again. Edwin thanks for hosting, that was very generous of you. Looking forward to the next club event.
