what size can you get?

all depends my friend. you dont care if it rubs? you dont want it to rub? yo wanna cut sheet meatl? you dont? too many questions can be asked by such a broad question

31s fit without issues, although 10.5" wide ones can rub on the center arm if you're flexed while turning full left.

I've been told 33s fit with some minor rubbing when flexed up. Skinnier probably fits better, again.

I've fit 32X11.5 Wildcat M/T's (at least those were the dimensions on paper).
Stock suspension. So rubbing that I can recall.
The springs were original, but the fact that it was an 1981 truck with 80,000km may give a little more clearance.

You should have good luck with the narrow (9 or 10 inch wide) 33's or 34's. If there is any rubbing, it should be something you could deal with by adding one or more thin spacers to your bumpstops.

Maybe more to the point, is you'll positively effect your top-speed, but negatively effect your crawl ratio.

Gearing/tire-wise; I'm making due with my 3B/4.11's/4-speed H42 with 35's (SOA). The highway 'overdrive' is nice, but it's begging for lower diff gears (and a 5-speed, and a turbo, and a crawler box.... but i digress...)

lol well i am running stock everything right now and i'd love a 5 speed, so i can imagine how it'd be with bigger tires. I am looking at some 33' bfg mud terrains. I am going to lift the truck eventually just the tires are a deal i can't pass up so just wondering if i should mount them or wait til i lift it.
