Got a question for you guys who might be using the CrossFire Pro. I was having computer issues and had to download Fusion360 again. All my projects are still there. I also had to reinstall FireControl with the latest version. Now I’m having issues with FireControl. I’ll send you a pic of the error code. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

Prior to reinstalling FireControl. Didn’t have any issues with the program.

So, did the torch fire or not? With the FireControl update, did it transfer your previous settings?

All that error code means is that the arc didn't start during that period when it's initially firing.

Is this only on the first pierce of the program or is it on every pierce?

Just to check simple things, when I forget to connect the ground clamp to the workpiece, I get this error.

So it fires and then shuts off. Not sure if it transferred my previous settings or not.

Well it fired but then it shut off giving the error code. Haven't tried any other parts that have multiple pierces. Ground was good and all the connections looked good.

I did uninstall FireControl yesterday and installed an older version. Got the same error code but in a different size box. Bumped the pierce delay up to 130% and it finally cut. I'll check a project with multiple pierces this afternoon.

Fire but no arc start causes the error too. Take a video of it doing it. Could be that the workpiece has too much scale/corrosion on it that has to burn up before the arc can start, or that the tip to work distance (THC touch off) is too high.

From your image, it says the pierce delay is too long in that case. I'd guess when you reinstalled your software it didn't save your previous settings and you'll have to reconfigure things.
