The electric seats kinda suck. I also procrastinated on this project for a year with the parts on hand. Definitely worthwhile!

I've thought about swapping out for the 80 series cloth, but those are almost impossible to find, and even if you do, insanely expensive. I then thought about adding different seats with the bracket mod, but again, a little more than I want to spend.

This works perfect!

Just put this on the wife's Christmas list for me. She's always asking which gets annoying. Happy to put this one on there at 6'-5". My prior 80 had cloth seats so wasn't terrible. My '97 LX could use a bit more legroom. I actually take my shoes off sometimes when driving it--it helps. Very curious to find out how it will feel compared to my '05 LC now.

Being 6’-5” as well, this was one of the first mods I did when I purchased my LX back in 2007. Only moved it back about 1.5” IIRC, but just enough to get my knees away from the dash.
