Hi Everybody
Merry Christmas! I would like to know anybody has done a FACTORY rear overfender to their pick up. Why is it that anywhere in the world except UAE has no factory fender on the truck? Any idea how to order this fender and put it on my pick up? Is that means we have to go to Dubai to order this fender?;)

Fender flares

Hello, Henning frome Norway writing.

I have the same problem as you, searching rear fender flares for my BJ75. I got someone frome Australia, but they was very bad made. So if you are going to order frome Kuwait or other places. Please let me know. I am also looking fenders for the front.

Kind regards

Henning

hi guys , i have land cruiser pick up 75 series frp fender.
hzj75 fender (2).webp

Your fender is the worst fender. All locally made. What we are talking here is the TOYOTA factory fender, OK.

Looks a lot better than your rear flares, at least they fit!

I have this rear flare too except that I want TOYOTA made not locally made. I need to cut in a few inch only. All Dubai GRJ79 fitted with this rear flare also. Toyota will not make something that don't fit. Thanks.

From the photos of the GRJ79 rear flare against the side of your 75 series tray, it sure looks like they do not fit.

Do Toyota make a 75 series rear flare, to fit your 75 series tray, that you can still buy?

I will prove to you that this rear factory flare will fit into a HZJ75 and post with photos that this is workable. I am still waiting for some item for the installation. Just wait and see.

ummm, if you have to modify something to make it fit then it is no longer TOYOTA made.

and, BTW, i have a few sets of FACTORY fender flares for 70 series and they are s***. i don't mean the s***z, i mean crap. ultra thin, very easily broken. those ones from Malasia look pretty damn good to me.

but

it is your money so do what you want with it.

Hi crushers, I'm not modifying to fit. I'm following what a TOYOTA has installed to a GRJ79 that sells to Dubai. This is not modify, this is installing. Actually, I have a set of this Malaysian made flare, from a distance look is perfect. However, when you get a closer look. Is not up standard. Just be patient and see I will put to drama.

Fender flares

I have a 75 tray on my BJ75 and a new 79 tray Iam going to put on. The 79 tray is 8cm tonger between the wheel arch and the cab. I will measure the wheelarch on the trays to day. The 79 series is 20 cm longer than the 75. The cab is 12 cm and the tray is 8 cm. Thats wy I have to cut my tray. I got about 75cm in the wides gap (low) on the wheel arch on both trays.

i read this in your post "I need to cut in a few inch only." which, to me, says modify. if you modify, it ain't factory.
simple as that.

:meh:

:)

The simply reason for using a 79 tray and not a 75 tray, is it is not possible to get a new 75tray in Norway. And I am agreed with you it is not a factory made one after cutting ...but you can not get closer to a factory tray than this. But I am not a fundamentalist in these matters....I belive it is very few trucks here at the forum that is stock from the Toyota Dealer. Most of them are modified with diffrent factory and aftermarked parts. So you can say all all trucks here are modified.

thanks for the link ...
curious, did you actually find rims that work for a dually rear diff? i have search and searched with no luck to find some for my 75 series.
i will be watching this thread for updates to the 79 series box converted to 75 series frame and the outcome.
cheers

curious, on that site, what language? Norway? i am trying to use altavista translate and can't find a language that is close enough. i want to register but ... well ...

:)

Yes, use the Norwegian translator on googel. :) And please be my guest to follow that link to my garage at the Norwegian Landcruiser Club. I will do the next step in the next week depending of weather and space in the garage. The weather is changing so fast here on the coast of Norway i the winter.

:)
