So been reading lots of great information on this site and figured I'd better join and start a build thread. I bought a 1982 BJ60 a couple years ago bone stock. Was my daily and it was great. However the body was in really rough shape and I have a new daily so it's time to turn the 60 into a rock crawler. I picked up a 97 ranger cab for $200👍 good deal. Plan is to rebuild the rear half of the frame, and do the spring over I've always wanted. Then get the ranger cab situated. Gonna build a little wheeling deck for it. Have a DIY turbo kit almost done for it as well. And seeing as it's going to be a trail only rig, full hydro steering setup. Gonna have lots of questions as this is my first build Cant wait to get into it! Photos are from when I first started digging into it until how it sits on the sawhorses now🤘

Cab on the frame today! Got it up on blocks until I can square it up nice and fab body mounts. Very happy with how everything lined up. Worked even better than my tape measure lead me to believe it would! Very minimal cutting and messing around to get it where I wanted it. Very happy to get this done so I can start messing with wiring etc
