I was under the impression that the 76, 77 and 78 Series came in either the LX or ZX trim levels and then I see this.

The Prados have a lot nicer interiors.

Not quite that nice. :hillbilly:

While they may not have any cup holders at least there are a couple of spots for carry out rice!

The Prado trim levels are SX and EX. My current one is an SX, the previous was an EX.

The "ideal" 7x would be a heavy-duty truck with light-duty guts.

I think I get it. The budget that should have been dedicated to cup holders was diverted to fabricate little adhesive letters for the rear doors. :)

Hello,

SX/EX applied to light duty 70 Series, also known as Prados.

I remember seeing an SX4 (or was it EX4?) trim level on a brochure, which had to do with reclining rear seats.

There was an option for an adjustable suspension, controlled not far from the carry spots, as well.

I understand these features were available on Light Duty 70 Series, and not on the Heavy Duty trucks.

Prados had a softer ride and a cushy interior...

not uncommon for HD 7X owners to swap door cards and the center console. I’ve got the center in my 77.

My 77 has those square cup holders so maybe it is part of the ZX trim as far as HD 7X line goes.

Fortunately there are some very cool aftermarket cup holders that take advantage of those two square holes.

If it doesn't hold a can of Bud Light is it really a "cup holder"?

hey did you see the round three posts for the arm rests?

also my above comment reads snarky and it wasn’t suppose to be. I’m sorry.

No. I need to get in on that quick this time, lol.

Don’t worry I didn’t read it as snarky. I really don’t know what all the “ZX” trim entails.

Hello,

Sometimes I think that LX/ZX/you name it thing depended on the mood of the factory people the day the truck was built.
