I've personally owned a few BJ's and I've had a few on consignment as well. I typically stick to US spec FJ40's and the BJ was never offer in the US. It was offered in Canada where the trucks were built closer to US spec with heaters, roll bars and disc brakes, etc. I prefer these trucks to the in Central America variety. I also like the latter 2B and 3B found in the BJ41/42 a little better than the B engine. - I'm not a mechanic so finding a good diesel mechanic is important for me. Fortunately, I have one pretty close to my shop if needed. - Thanks for inquiry.
