Negative! He was up there w/2 other XJ's.l By the time we made it over to lend a hand they had the rig upright and down the trail.....

I had fun - thanks everyone. Definitely do it again.

SNOW RUN!!!

Great pictures guys. I had a similar slide experience as Shane had when I took the kids to Palomar.

It looks like most of you guys were running BFG AT's. I run the same and after my experience in the mud and snow this week, I will NOT be running BFG AT's next time around.

Thanks for the great pictures! Just enough snow for a good time it looks like.

So bummed I missed out. Hopefully next time.

Dan.

Surprisingly I didnt experience much problems w/the BFG AT's It took me everywhere... Except the real deep snow (where xj's w/ mtrs and tsl ssr's had to turn around).
Overall I am pleased w/bfg At's offroad and on-road. Great tire for a daily driver weekend warrior.... my .02..... But this discussion can go on forever......... :meh:

Mine are also chunking BADLY. But you're right, the discussion could go on forever . . . :shotts:

im on some Remington Wide Brute A/Ws. they came with the car when i got it back in Nov and they are in way too good of shape to think about new tires. i wish they werent.. would love to get some BF M/Ts or Firestone Destination M/Ts to try out. anyways, they did pretty well and im a little surprised of their offroad performance. i kept up well with everyone else in the snow... though it seemed no one was excelling.

loving the pictures. there was lots of snow, i think more than we expected. any less and it wouldnt have been as interesting, any more and it would have taken away from the fun factor. i really enjoyed the last hour/leg when we were pushing and pulling, too bad no one got any action shots from that stuff. my pictures i reffered to in a previous post have now been posted by crotchmonster, the photographer. again, thanks for setting this up philos and great meeting you guys. hopefully we will meet again when the weather isnt as snowy. this was a most excellent welcome for me to these boards.

Definitely a good time, and everyone really pitched in to get down that last section...

My tires are doing the same after going thru a couple of rock gardens at 10 psi, the tires really start chuncking on the outer most tread area........ Typical BFG AT.......

That last part of the trail was sure fun guys..... Nothing like a muddy mess to help you go down hill off camber, right??

I agree. I'd have to say the last bit going down was the most fun to me. I would have gotten some action shots but I was more concerned about our trucks tipping
