I see you changed your wheels. Were the ones prior the 15" size? What size BFG were you running with the previous wheels? I currently have the 15" size wheels and like the way your combination looks. Did you have problems with rubbing or just wanted a different look? Thank you!!
I had 33x12.5xR15. with a 2" lift, nothing was rubbing anywhere. I switched to 33x10.5xR15 due to less resistance and easier running of the vehicle. In both cases, I have 3 cm pads under the wheels.
By “3 cm pads…” do you mean spacers? I can see the 12.5 tires rubbing without spacers and a -20 wheel offset but are the spacers still needed with a 10.5 wide tire? Are they rubbing when turning? Maybe your offset is lesser than the OEM wheels?
Thank you!
Thank you for both, the compliment and visual explanation. Awesome!Nice Prado!
Yes, I meant spacers. Offset on OEM wheels -20. Now -25. 12.5" rested on the pin on the connecting rod (see photo). 10.5 is better, but I wanted to have the wheels flush with the rim.
