From what I’ve read on these that most 1/24 static model bodies will fit. The wheelbase may have to be adjusted though. Depends on your skill with micro RCs really. These Kyosho rigs have proprietary wheels so some additional modding for those as well.

Thats on a scx24 but you can see the Tamiya box for the Kit underneath.

This looks like a pretty great setup.

Also looks like it's basically sold out. Anyone know where I could get one?

Thanks!~
Did you get any indication of when it'll ship?

Been messing with mine for the past month or so now. I love this little thing!
I also removed the rear tire carrier. It's pretty easy, just unscrew the rear bumper bracket and then unscrew the rear bumper.
Take out the spare tire and bracket (can be done in one fell swoop) and reinstall the rear bumper on the brackets, then back on the frame, voila, no more spare tire.

I can't wait for items for these to be in stock as I want to buy a set of Jimny wheels because it has some BFG's on it and look a little more aggressive for dirt. I do love this thing though, best $200 I spent on an RC besides the almost $1000's i've spent/dumped on my SCX10.2 lol

A couple of other "micro" options, Axial SCX24 & Element RC Enduro24. Both come from long-time established brands & have good parts support through most hobby shops.
