Alright, as some of you will recognize, this is the truck from the Craigslist ad I shared a couple of weeks ago. This used to be my truck and it now belongs to a friend of mine who is having a hell of a time selling it on Craigslist, I think we can all agree selling via Craigslist sucks... He's been contacted over and over with the same questions and is getting "sellers fatigue". I told him for a cold six pack, I would list it for him here on MUD with a no haggle MUD price he deemed acceptable.
He is selling this one because he bought another and "claims" he has too many cars... Anyway.
1986 model with a clean Kentucky Title, 218,000 miles and a great runner.
4WD works, AC was working but I believe it has a leak, as it only worked for about 1 month after the recharge. It runs and drives great, I wouldn't hesitate to hop in it and take it on a road trip today, even when I had it. It has a Weber carburetor and a hack desmog previous to mine or Alex's ownership.
Here's a list of thing Alex had done to the truck within the last 3 months (there may be more?):
New Calipers, Pads, Rotors, drums
New Shocks (all 4)
New Steering Stabilizer
New tie-rods and fresh alignment
New Tires, Kumho AT Ventures (31 x 10.5)
Rebuilt Carburetor
New battery
Oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket along with several others to fix slow leak (turns out, rear main is the culprit)
Tune-up plugs, wires, cap/rotor, new fluids, etc.
New rear carpet
I'll be honest, silver does a great job of hiding rust, look closely at the suspect areas, mainly rear arches and quarter panels but there is rust. The frame is pretty solid, all suspension points appear nice and solid. I'll post the photos from his ad below. If I see him and the truck I will take some better photos of areas I know you all want to see.

"This truck starts and drives great. It's very fun to drive and does well in town and on the highway. I've driven this truck to Red River Gorge and back multiple times from Louisville. It's a turn-key classic car daily driver. I describe it as "Rolling Nostalgia." Very fun to run errands in, drive to work, or for trips. Motor pulls very strong and the mechanic that did the tune-up said that the motor seems to have been rebuilt recently from the ground up. Car comes with the stock chrome wheels; not the black wheels."
"Rolling Nostalgia" how can you not buy it?? ON TO THE PHOTOS!
