Had a pretty serious alignment issue with the FJCruiser returning from Moab. Driving through the snow was difficult as the truck would not track at all but would lurch as the computer attempted to compensate. A big thanks to Tools for helping me with a roadside alignment and we made Phoenix. Killed 2 tires in the process but I need bigger ones anyway.
Spent the night with CSC friends and Murf had us in the shop first thing. Excellent service! Got home Monday afternoon. Had a really great time with the usual suspects. Looking forward to another run. Thanks to all.

Great to hear they got you straightened out and made it home safe. Good ending to another epic adventure, look forward to wheeling with you guys again soon!

Good to hear, Jim. Two trail fixes on the way home has to be a record for us;) Glad it all worked out.

great to hear the truck is not seriously broken

Got my tire back today from Fletcher's. Took them two days to find the leak. It was a nail in the middle of one of the lugs with the head broken off. They took care of it and for free.:bounce::bounce2:

Good deal! I'm surprised that a nail would penetrate the lug of a new tire like that.

I hear those res nails are pretty tough:rolleyes:
I must have caught it at just the right angle.:meh:

If I had a dime for every nail I pulled out of a tire, I'd be a frickin millionaire.
I once pulled an extractor from a handgun out of a tire. Car belonged to a security guard, too.

And back to the topic of this thread: Murf: You do rock. Thank you.
