As mentioned above, Autoparts stores that sell oil are required to take used oil back, including Wallymarts, O'Reillys, Advance Auto, etc. Wallymarts wants you to sign your name and address in a book, some people I hear just squiggle something in gibberish as they don't ask for your ID. The autoparts stores IME don't ask for your personal info, just walk in, ask them where to take the used oil, walk around to the back of the store, dump it in the tank, done. FWIW
