Hey folks, I'm doing a group buy for King Shocks, it's open to any make and model so everyone welcomed. I'm personally getting a set for my 1997 LC that would cost $2122 + $190 tax = $2312, but with the group buy, I'm able to negotiate them down to $1880 shipped to your door. We will be saving $432 on these amazing shocks, you won't have buy another set every 12 months or sooner. At $100 per piece of OME shocks, they will add up really quick, so take advantage of this group buy and save big money on quality shocks. Everyone know that King manufactures some of the best shocks on the market, and their customer service is even better.

We currently have 4 people in on the group buy so I invite you to join us and visit the thread below for more details:

bump, we have 6 members interested so far, group buy is looking healthy so come join us and reward yourself with high performance shocks :)

You have a link to King shocks that compares them to Toyota OEM quality? The OEM shocks on my 80 series lasted for 80k miles. Just want to know what you get for the extra $300+ over the cost of the OEM shocks?

King makes arguably the best high end racing shocks in the offroad world. Anything from stock replacement to 4" diameter trophy truck shocks. Plus their customer service is top notch.

Thanks, since I don't do off road racing I never heard of them. Sounds like they make sense for the off road racers

OEM shocks are like soda cans full of compressed fart gas when compared to King shocks :D

mattafact, are you down for a set at this killer price?

Vastly different experience here regarding their 'top notch customer service'...I'll leave it at that.

Yeah I hadn't heard great things about them either. For the hundy at least, can't say about their other shocks.

I know a guy who runs kings with remote res and is happy with them on his 99 100 series. However he runs 285/75R16 tires so obviously he does not have clearance issues. From what I hear, it took some work to set them up. They didn't come from the factory plug n play lol.

I think you're confusing the product with the customer service. Some of the comments above are talking about customer service, but you're saying you heard negative comments about the 100 Series shock? Was it on MUD or somewhere else?

I definitely thought I read somewhere about a poor performing shock, maybe not for the lot but hell, maybe I don't recall correctly and it is the customer service I'm thinking of. You very well could be right cause I remember it being on MUD, so it could be service I'm thinking of.

Nitro aka Just Differentials has been selling a King setup for years. Haven't heard of many issues.

Not meaning to hijack the group buy, but ICON will be releasing their full lineup for the 100 Series very soon. I'm holding out for them. I know for certain their customer service is top shelf and their product speaks for itself.

Well, it would be helpful to hear comments from people who actually used kings shocks, negative reviews is as helpful as positive ones. I'm not trying to be rude but i wouldn't personally listen to someone that can't remember what they have read or where their sources werr. Its completely irrelevant and counterproductive to my goal.
