So I'm guessing my full set of of BIOR steel skid plates is adding to my mpg :)

When I first read this thread I really considered throwing the plastic skid back on. But last Sunday went for a drive with the better half and our Frenchie. From Oxnard down into Malibu to Bruxie in Orange County, I did 15.4mpg (45 miles) in stop and go traffic on the coast . Then drove from Orange County back to Oxnard late evening in practically no traffic, did 17.3mpg (105 miles) cruising at about 70mph. MPG is far from a priority on this truck, but Im really happy with those numbers. Driving back and forth to work I average maybe about 9-12mpg depending on if I'm running late lol

Stats:
2000 LX470, 155k miles
Ironman lift, 22" F / 23" R
275/70r18 36psi F / 40psi R
Tundra wheels, aluminum skinny 5 spoke
ARB rear bumper
No 3rd row seat, work gear and tools in back.

Haven't really thought twice about putting it back on lol

Luis
