Bought the basic expo rack and am loving it so far. It's a little tricky getting everything lined up since there are so many bolts and everything is adjustable, but once on the thing is solid. I also used a couple Quickfists for a shovel mount and 3/8" bolts with wing nuts for a hi-lift jack mount. Both mounted easily to the plates that come with the rack. Below are a few pics.

That looks great!

Nice!!

Very nice, I'm in the middle of ordering full expo. Question, does you whale wing get in the way of the rack when lift gate is up? I was certain it would be in the way and I would have to remove it. I was already planning on removing it but this was just one more reason why I should do it. I really don't like the looks of the whale wing.

Should have come to Cruise Moab. I saw @nakman (Tim) installing one during vendor night. He seems fairly practiced on a quick, clean install. Looks good.

@savirc The whale tail is not in the way of the rack itself, but it's a pain to reach over it when standing on the rear bumper loading stuff.

@bluecruiser I wish I could get away from work and baby duty for Cruiser Moab... one day.

@nutter Rack looks great. Is it possible to get some more pictures of the hi-lift and shovel setup? I just installed my Gamiviti rack also and looking at my options for attaching equipment. Thanks

If you have the option to put on the wind fairing I wouldn't hesitate to do that.

It makes a world of difference in wind noise at speeds over 45 mph

395 & goes up from there depending on options. Optioned out with light brackets, gussets, floor, basket and mounting feet will be around $900 -$1000

Parts list for the hi-lift mount:
1 4x3/8" bolt
1 3x3/8" bolt
8 3/8" washers
4 3/8" nuts
2 3/8" lock washers
2 3/8" wing nuts
All stainless steel.

For the Quickfists I got the combo pack off Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/piece-Quick-F...UTF8&qid=1462944375&sr=8-2&keywords=quickfist) and am using the large ones as a fire extinguisher mount in the cargo area.

I'll try to post pics of shovel and hi-lift on the rack tomorrow.

@DoublePump I used this trick to cut down on wind noise:

It works. I'll post a pic of that too.

hahaha! I'll have to see a video of that, lol.

I mean, I don't doubt that it works, I just would never have thought of that. It makes sense though... this is a long shot but by breaking up the channels where air flows through, it must stop the rack from creating the tunnel effect or howl?!

Ever noticed that coiled wire on some car antennae? Eliminates the wind noise

LOVE my rack! I am sure you can hit Tim up here if you are interested, Tim Nakari - Nakman

hoping to get my soon but thinking now that it may be a bit delayed due to cruise moab.

nutter, looks like you are just using a tie down strap to hold your maxtrax on? are they locked on there somehow as well?

Okay, here are some more photos...

Hi Lift Jack (note it's the 48" version).

@dfinn Yes, the Maxtrax are just held on w/ a tie down. I have the little mounts on back-order, but they haven't arrived. I do intend to lock them when I get the mounts as they are not cheap.
