I bought my 1986 FJ60 last year. Since, I've installed a 12H-T w/5spd, rebuilt the front end and transfer case, and put on OME suspension kit. Your rig looks rust free and not beat up - good going, these are great to wrench on and play with.

Yeah I'm in SoCal. The guy I got it from was supercool. Great buying experience.
The one thing I've noticed in my hunt for my first FJ is that the people that own them are a great bunch of people.
Can't wait to start getting her to where I want her to be.
I just got my first SOR catalog....now if I could only come into about $10K worth of gift cards!
And just for a little insight, SOR is great, but there are MANY other great vendors from which to choose from!

Upadate on my FJ60...
Well, after eight long months, I finally got it going mechanically. It was running good, but had the infamous intake/exhaust leak the 2F's are notorious for. Got some help from Dynosoar and Manuchao.
Rehabbed and replaced a bunch of other stuff while I was in there...All hoses, almost all vacuum lines, rebuilt carb(Mark A), painted valve cover, replaced smog pump(thanks Manuchao), rehabbed the entire A/C system and charged it with R-12, radiator rebuilt, new fan clutch, new belts, thermostat....dang...as you can see, lots of stuff...too much to list.
I finally got around to giving the paint some attention. Used some Clay Bar on it and will wax it this weekend, but I wanted to post up some pictures of it before.
I just ordered a Kenwood Radio for it...
Anyway, here she is....for now:

I know! I just found a good name: Kenjitsu look it up in a Japanese dictionary and you'll see it totally fits it.
