the other is Ford EcoSport but we don't talk about that

My current DD is a 2007 Audi RS4, but I'm hoping to purchase an 200 LC in the next year or so to be my DD and to get into the overland/off-road community. My RS4 has 58k miles on it so it would be nice to keep as a fun weekend car and avoid the salt during winter as much as possible. The guys on here with an LC and a Porsche though... that's a nice, dream garage. The other car in our garage is a 2013 Subaru Legacy - wife's ride.

Ford 250 ... piece of junk but it’s free

Currently drive a 2011 Prius for work. Wife's daily is our 2014 4Runner Limited. Have a 2014 Tundra and 78 FJ40 - Looking to get a2016 200 but my wife's uninspired by them, would rather I buy her a Tesla. She said I could get a 200 but I really can't justify the $ with the vehicles we currently have.

Well my collection of sheet metal is no where near as cool as some of you guys. Apparently a prerequisite to owning a LC, is owning a Porsche. lol. Awesome.

My "daily". I have some killer wheels for it. Can't wait. SCS cool guy crew.

My real daily. My work truck. and its twin. 69 chevy C30. green a 350, yellow a 292. yellow used to be a dump truck. it lays frame now.

My FJ40. 80 series axles, 37s, 3 linked, Getting a 1uz at the moment.

And lastly, my Death Cart. 1986 Toyota Corolla AE86. gutted, caged, pretty much everthing'd drift car. Motivated by a Lexus 1uz. Very loud. Very awesome. Even with only 300 hp, but less than 2000 pounds, it is downright scary to drive.

If you want sticker shock. Look up prices of genuine AE86 parts. lolz.

That yellow truck is fantastic. I don't get it, but I love it.

Post a pic of those SCS after you get them mounted!

Thank you! It was an exercise in "why not" or " let's take a running driving truck and make it not so". There is a very long and interesting history behind both trucks, but I will save that for another time. Yellow truck I started using during the beginning of covid. Realizing top speed was 47 mph(5.38 rear axle), it wasn't on the road long. So I decided to cut it up and airbag it. The frame is cut in 4 places along each frame rail. I am working out how I want to build the flatbed. It will eventually haul my Goldwing cafe bike to cars and coffee or the random weekend trip to the hardware store.

I want to know the origin story behind your name. So great!

Awesome collection! You 40 rides low for sitting on 37s, nice job.

Thank you. A lot of work went into that truck to make it sit low. 16" coilovers up front. Ruffstuff 80 series axle. 9.5 diffs front and rear. FJ60 flipped rears in back. Stock 80 series axle rear. After the V8 swap. It will go sprung under in the rear and airbags in the front.

Will do! Very excited about these wheels. All my GX460 friends are running them. haha. I had to follow suit I guess. Thinking about wrapping the FJ in olive drab.

@yOHda - I dig a dually that can lay frame. Makes people think.

- You have magnesium blocks to rub concrete with? 🎆 ;) 🎆

1984 Mercedes 300d. It’s a 5 cylinder turbo diesel. A couple years ago I went through the engine, re-sleeved, etc. It makes all 125 hp it made in 84. Gets great fuel economy, looks cool, and I can troubleshoot everything with a multimeter and vacuum gauge.
In college, I ran the thing on French fry grease. This was when diesel fuel was approaching $5/gallon. I started off paying a guy $1.50 a gallon for cleaned up grease, but after I helped him with his car one afternoon he stopped taking my money. I still need to retrofit a new AC system in it, but otherwise everything else works.

US version of the LC Prado....thought that was the only version within our reach. But funny how you figure things out when they confirm cancelling the LC in the US.
