Ah yeah I don't think Ibis has the sharp lines on the top and down tube - that is one sweet ride. Looking at Ibis for my next - current is beloved, DWlink Turner:Giant Trance 29, but very similar suspension to Ibis DW-Link.

Give a look at Yeti cycles. Since I moved to Colorado, Ive discovered this brand while riding Santa Cruz. LOVE the group and boutique team. They're pretty big in Colorado. www.yeticycles.comGreat bikes and great people, might be my next bike as well.

They're also quite popular here in WNC - but - I'm a DWlink zealot through and through.I've tested a few of their bikes over the last 5 years, but none have quite gelled with what I've wanted at the time. Thought long and hard about the SB100 or 130 before building the Trance, but wanted in between.
Anyway, where's the MTB thread around here, haha!
x1000. Once my wife's X3 lease is up we're jumping into a Model 3 and calling it quits on cars for a looooong time. I think a full electric, jetson's sort or car will be a really neat addition to round things out.
I have spent my adult life treadmilling through vehicles - but the 911 and LC200 combo speak to me. I don't know if it's engineering or sheer permanence with 50 & 60 years behind refining these platforms. Even if they're far detached from their origins, there's still a feeling of being connected to that lineage that I love.
So many great collections on here, probably the best I've seen on any message board. Here's my (new to me) LC200 with my '15 GT3.

A man after my own heart! Hope to add a .2 GT3 to stable in the next year or two.
Two dogs .. Supdawg and the pup! (used to own MKIV.com) and still have a few ...
When in Japan I saw a ton of these (obviously) and rode in a few. White gloves and all.My other car is a 1992 Toyota Century VG40. I tend to rotate my 'other' car about once a year with a Cruiser being the constant. I try to go with something sporty. But I'm going on 2 years with the Century and absolutely love it. Put about 15k miles on it since I picked it up in Virginia and drove it home. I do have a lead on a Toyopet Crown right now that might tempt me to sell it but as of right now I can't see it happening. It's a fantastic, if not fast, automobile. I just lowered it two inches with some springs I got from Japan. The rear is air ride so just had to cut down the adjustment linkage.

Hoping the 992 Touring will come with PDK. After 3 911s with PDK, I'm a convert.Hell of a choice sir. Especially with the 992 GT3 on the way - all the people who require the latest and greatest should put the 991.2 in a good spot from a value pricing perspective. I'm hoping to explore it as well.
More than likely you were in a Crown, not a Century. Crowns are ubiquitous and used as taxis and shuttle cars. Centuries are pretty rare, only a few hundred made each year, and are usually only used for private citizens to be chauffeured. When in Japan I saw a ton of these (obviously) and rode in a few. There's some beautiful cars in here, even in just the last few pages.
85 Celica Supra... restored 1JZ, full drivetrain, suspension, brakes and more. Looks great in the garage 8+ months a year.

I spend 3-4 months in Tokyo a year. I LOVE the self opening doors. However, I don't like the drivers - who all smoke (albeit not when you are in the car with them) - the residual smoke bothers me.....More than likely you were in a Crown, not a Century. That being said, I took a couple of taxi rides in Japan a few years ago. One in Hiroshima and one in Tokyo and it's a crazy experience. The formality, the cleanliness, the white gloves, self opening doors etc is just crazy relative to the rest of the world's version of taxis.
The rally cars at the Megaweb were awesome. That prototype MR2? That thing was crazy. About the smoking. I chose to get the less desirable leather interior Century because I was worried that scent unsmelled (yes I just made that up instead of sight unseen) I'd end up with a wool interior that smelled like smoke forever. One day I'll get to lay my eyes on the Century. My friend that works at Toyota got to drive one and said the hybrid performance is pretty damn impressive.I spend 3-4 months in Tokyo a year. One could see the new Centuries in the Toyota Megaweb store. My kids love it everytime we go there...though they like all the Ferraris and Vettes in there, while I drool over Rally Turbo Celicas...and Century
