Just curious, what's your OTHER vehicle?

The Cruiser stays at home because it has the baby seat base in it and whoever is going to work(I work at night and she works during day) takes our 2007 4Runner Limited!

  • 2018 Land Cruiser for her (recently acquired and we both really love this truck)
  • 2020 Equinox for me (not pictured, company car, should I ever lose this benefit I'll likely snag a 2016+ LX570 for me)
  • 2016 GT4 is the toy for now (991.1/991.2 GT3s have been tempting me lately, going to try and wait them out a bit longer though)

Love the GT4. I have one in Rhodium silver.

It's quite the vehicle, that's for sure. I've heard of many folks going from a GT4, to a GT3, only to come back to a GT4. That has to say something about the car I'd imagine.

What's the spec on yours aside from the exterior color?

This is my '14 Taco....replaced my '98 Taco with it 3 yrs ago

pic 3 is 'Guzzler' my clean one owner '02 Chevy...bought new in '02..now w/127K miles

Really wanna LC or LX....just not happening soon...have a new Escapod trailer ordered...;)

LWBS and PCCB - yellow deviated stitching and yellow seatbelts. Silver wheels. For me, the GT4 goes 0-to-jail fast enough... 😂

Just started looking at these what are the best years to consider? Thanks
They only made them in 2016 as the 981 body. The new 718 GT4 just started production in 2020. There is a 4 year gap and 2016 was the first and only 981 year.

only big options were the seats (carbon buckets) and brakes (ceramic). There are others (sport chrono - mine has that too), navigation (mine doesn’t), and a few leather bits but the first 2 are the big ones.

A '20 Honda Pilot, and '14 Altima, one for hauling kids one as a commuter. Looking for a wagon in the next few months. A bicycle and some hockey skates move me around otherwise.

RA - know those corners and concrete well (not hit, just in my eyeballs!).
RA indeed!! 45mins from home and my favorite along with Barber. I've probably clocked 400 laps+ there between cars and motorcycles.

T12 still puckers me up, every time!

Barber is my favorite I've driven - hundreds of laps on 4 (Cayman S, 350Z, Supras, ISF, F350) and a few dozen on two.

The RA course is my all time favorite configuration. Every other track has sections that I dread for one reason or another - but I love every last section of the track. The facilities and local area leave a little to be desired vs other tracks (Glen, Barber, etc).

If I had to stack rank favorite courses out of the majors:
1. Road Atlanta
2. VIR
3. Glen
4. Mid Ohio
5. Barber

The Ring was memorable - would be great if it were a home course, but was a stress-ridden experience.

I've never done VIR, it's about 400mi from me... Hoping to check it off the list in 2021, tow the GSF with the LC.

The uphill 7-8-9-10 section looks like a blast

can assure you will not be disappointed.

Would suggest going in October. If you do it with Chin, I’ll see you there. Heads up, it sells out in like 2 minutes.
