Just curious, what's your OTHER vehicle?

I like the updated front end with your White LC, which happens to be the same wheels I used to have and will get again. Which lift suspension system are you using?

Update- never mind, I just saw your post about mud and noticed you are running King.

The Fuels are ok. Not sure I love the lip with beadlock look on LC. May go with a more concave look like Merhod Roost or something. We'll see.

Good taste. Course I'm partial. Had a 900hp 997TT and almost got a 650 instead of the Huracan. Also had a hankering for a Diesel Range! Interesting you have both Range and Land Cruiser. But it makes sense. The Range didn't tick my "truck" itch as it's too svelte for big off-road tires and lift.

Nice stable ;-)

The Range is my wife's rig,

650s is great, the Huracan is fast!!!

Thanks!

picked this up as a DD as the wife has mostly stolen the Cruiser for her DD....

had an E63 a while back but this thing is much more brutal... was very happy to find it as the 507's in the color are rare.

Sold the 2003 TTCobra to get a Lexus LX450 then sold the LX to get a 100 series, then sold the 100 series to get the 200...
It put down 801 HP 827 TQ.. it is missed.

2011 Ram 3500 Big Horn Cummins. Not stock.

Wife has an Avalon but steals the 200 on a regular basis..

Great car, "but" -

If you're not already aware, keep a very close eye on the S63tu (engine) service bulletins as you own it. The N63 (lower spec 4.4 TT) has been a nightmare reliability-wise for BMW, and they have done tens of thousands of engine-out timing chain replacements (and thousands more whole engine replacements) because of intrinsic flaws in the timing chain and engine design.

The S63 and the S63tu, by contrast, have maybe 1/100th the build volume of the N series, and by contrast they have NOT issued a Customer Care Package for the S-motors.

Why does this matter? Because some of the S motors have been exhibiting the same problems.

This was the chief reason we got rid of our X5M - too much risk for my taste. Modern BMWs are great driving cars, but they don't spend enough time driving as they should. :(

Yes, I've heard of the N63 issues. I haven't seen too many issues with the S63TU, and those I have seen were all tuned cars. Some cars may have an appetite for oil and the turbo oil lines aren't very good but I'll just be keeping an eye out for those.

I passed on one car that had the turbo oil lines replaced at 24k.

Right now my car is in the shop awaiting a new air conditioning condenser (common problem on F10 5 series).

A few months ago I picked up an E63 wagon for kid-hauling duties. It was a chore finding the one I wanted, which is the last year of rear-wheel-drive, which has the twin-turbo 5.5L:

It makes pretty good power for a wagon:

A new challenger steps up for the king of depreciation title! Is the M3 a manual? I've been kicking around the thought of picking one up.

I want an E63 Wagon!! Is is a E63s?

Sort of. They introduced the 'S' moniker for the Performance Package in MY14 with the advent of AWD. Mine is a Performance Package car, and when looking it up internally with Mercedes, it comes up as an E63S. It has the goodies like ceramic brakes, limited slip, and Driver Assistance, and it had the optional forged wheels when I got it, but I put BBS on at the same time as the RENNtech stuff.

nice cars!! I hope you survived the flood. Sophie's choice on which car to drive to high ground...

What’s your impression of the Mclaren as compared to your 991.2 Turbo? I know the Mclaren turns way more heads, but it seems to me that other than hard core track work the 991.2 would be the overall better car, and certainly competitive at any track.

Well, guys, I'm out of the Cruiser Cartel. The wife found it to be too big, especially after I lifted it, so we ordered a TRD Pro 4Runner, and traded the Cruiser for a 2012 Turbo S.

If anyone is looking for a 2016 Cruiser with 21,000 miles and King shocks, send me a message and I'll tell you where it is.

997.2 Turbo is an awesome car. Is it PDK or stick? I see you have the PCCBs too - how do you like them on the street?

If I had a choice, I'd have gotten a manual, but the Turbo S is PDK-only.

With respect to the brakes, I've become a sucker for ceramics. The pedal feel is unbelievably good. I have them on the wagon as well, and they're equally fantastic.
