Wanted Junk 3B cylinder head

I'm looking for a cracked/broken/junk 3B head that I can use as a welding fixture for turbo exhaust manifolds. I can try to make a jig out of steel but a head would be much easier. Anyone have a broken one laying around? Don't need the rockers, valves or anthing else. Just the bare head would be perfect.

I have a few B heads around and a 3BII head but shipping would probably be more then it is worth.

It will likely cost me about $100 in materials to make one out of steel plus about 3 to 4 hours of my time. I'd use 1" plate steel and have to drill/tap it. So getting another head or two might be less aggravation.

I'm just looking for a junk head that maybe dropped a precup or something to use as a fixture for welding tubular exhaust manifolds.

I can see if the guy I sold my 2B pulled the head yet. I thought it might be cracked or at least had a bad head gasket. If it's toast I can see if he would send it your way...

I have a few on the other side of the other country but if you want I would ship you one . Pm me if you are interested . I guess I could see if I could get the exhaust port flange cut off to reduce weight , keep it around 2" thick ? Not sure if it would deflect ?

I'm not sure if they would deflect. I'd rather not risk it. I'll PM you.

Ive got one that has the common cracks between the valves but shipping would probably be more than its worth.

If you haven't got one yet, I too have one with 'the usual cracks', in a box, ready to ship from 83702.
