Finally have some photos to post (sorry it took over 5 months). Thanks to all for the great info! Sorry about the running boards, the wife needed something to help get the kids in and out and the price was right (forum member free)! It looked much better without, but I do not want to start that fight!

Front axle service is next (have the FSM, DVD, most of the tools, now just need the balls!)

Side note: Anyone interested in another addiction, I am selling my old BMW to get something newer (5 or 7 series BMW). Here is a link for pics: http://community.webshots.com/myphotos?action=viewAllPhotos&albumID=547034489&security=DxigMA

very nice!

don't sweat the running board thing. just leave them on, beat the crap out of them to the point where the wife insists that you get new ones then replace them with step sliders :D

I'm not big on white Cruisers, but it certainly looks nice!

Love the white. Makes me want to find a marshmallow to sink my teeth into!

The Thule rack and Yakima box came with the truck. I was going to remove the box, but it has come in pretty handy (snowboards and boots / canoe paddles and life jackets). Also very easy to find it in a crowded parking lot :flipoff2: ! The marshmallow comment is kind of rough, but after detailing cars for the last 4 years, white is your friend! Show me a dark colored LC and I will show you water spots and scratches!

No comments on the BMW? I guess this is the wrong crowd... althought 120 mph sure feels nice after "Sunday" driving along in the LC!

Thanks for looking,

Riley

Great looking TLC.
I wish mine had your front grill with Toyota on it.
I hate the logo!

Very nice looking 6 series. You don't see many that clean anymore. You should keep that classic! I've got an E34 540 I'm about as likely to part with as my beloved Cruiser.

And excellent choice on the white, my favorite color for an 80!

Love the Cruiser -- looks a lot like mine. Ignore the white naysayers, they are jealous because you have the best color. :D

Love the BMW too. If I had more money that I knew what to do with, I'd suddenly know what to do with some of it.

I need a 4 door so whatever I get from the 6 series is my budget for a 5 or 7 series (1989-1995). Keep's e34 540 was what I had in mind. Thanks to all for looking!

Whatchu got against white rigs?

:flipoff2:

I really like the "scared kitty" avatar! I'm tempted to "borrow" it for another (unrelated) blog I frequent.

Really nice looking truck. I've had a white one before my dark green one, and you are correct about the difficulty of keeping the dark ones detailed!! I especially miss the white on those 100 degree days after parking it outside for a few hours!

Cheers! :flipoff2:

I think there is a strong TLC-BMW addiction around here. What are you asking for the 6er and how many on the clock?
