Thanks for the comments guys. Andy it took 2 cans and im into a third doing some touch up.
I have all ready knicked a few spots installing seats and the tank and touched them up proving that a rattle can resto makes sense for trail rash as well as keeping money in your wallet.......atleast until I have $2k laying around!!!

I dont have to worry about the 2k, but you are right!!
yes the whole truck will be this color...got some work to do on the outside rear quarters and just above both running boards but after that and some primer it will all be Rustoleum spruce green......worst case scenario..when it fades in a year or 2 I can chose another green!! this whole project looks to be done for about $120 in paint, primer, and supplies

Thanks Lash! I was side tracked with other stuff today but managed to get the roll cage, rear seats, and some other parts installed.
Should be driving as soon as I get the fuel filler neck cleaned out and that with the parts from fuel door to tank installed.

Thanks Andy...looks like he has a buyer and a guy inline so I am probably not going to get it, but oh well.
For now I have put rust bullet on that rear sill and put the cap back on it......it's good to go until I can do it right.

Thanks Martin....yeah im finally getting to the point where a few hours yields visible results which is exciting. I have looked for your truck, but I think you must still be at work when I roll out each day.
Progress report:
After work today I put all doors in the attic, cleaned up all the tools and my work bench (the top!) in preparation for some more work this weekend.
im off Fri-Mon...the plan is to prep the hood for paint, remove the front bumper, bib, replace alot of bolts with new ones, get the fuel system back together and hopefully drive her and listen to my stereo for the first time (thanks to Jon the PO for coming through on a cd face plate). I am also going to disassemle the top and attempt to fit it in my attic or atleast get it out of the way for summer and redo it in the fall.
I could not fit the fiberglass cap thru the attic door. So I hung it from the ceiling with some hooks. Be sure to take good care of the rubber seal between the cap and sides. Replacing it is expensive.

Yeah that is my plan as well....no way it will fit, but by turning the other pieces I think they will go. I have a traditional pull down access situated conveniently over my FJ, thus requiring me to push it out into the driveway when needing to get up there

My LC has been sitting in my driveway all week. I have been putting Kroil on the studs and nuts in hopes that they come off easier. You would have to drive down Lyncrest to see my truck because my neighbor has a tall fence that would prevent you from seeing it from Riverside. My house is the first one that faces Lyncrest on the right. From my front yard you can see Belhaven's baseball field. The pics I took of the LC sitting in a parking lot are at Murrah. The grass pics are the baseball field lot.

Just got pay pal verification. I have sold my tires and that cow catcher to a guy in OK. I took my top apart and cleaned the garage yesterday so now I have space for painting.....WWOOHOOOOOOOO!
top screws are a bugger so PB blaster is at work now....I have 3 phillips heads that won't budge
got my hood off and was removing the windshield but hit a ridiculous snag
2nd pic of the wiper motor wiring....how the heck do the metal clips come out of the plastic?? I know this seems ridiculous but I need to remove them to get the windshield off and I can't get them to release with a screw driver or anything else and don't want to end up rewiring because I did something stupid.
painted my kick panels, tire lock mechanism thingy for spare, and the fuel filler neck metal cover.
