Gotta just love putting together clean painted parts!

My grommit helped put together the OME spring plates. Then we set the rear in. I find myself walking out to the garage looking at the rear mounted, smile, then walk back into the house quite a few times per day.:hillbilly:

That is beautiful!

It will really start to come together with some shiny new brake and fuel lines.

that s an awesome frame! Doing my (BLUE) 86 now with a 82? frame, just ran into a sterring box issue. What really makes me green is your indoor space, mine all outodoors! You are really doing a nice job, right down to the charcoal canister, makes me want to up my game. Everything looks perfect. I have to figure out how to post pictures.....

Called Cruiser Dan about the frame lines you speak of. All are pretty much no longer available.:frown:
I have to rely on a couple guys parting out in southern cali to pull through for me on those.

Thanksgiving update..

Went out to Ohio to get my early Christmas present front axle from Jim Chenoweth and to have Thanksgiving with my brother in law's family. It was a great weekend all around.

Jim did another awesome job. This time setting up the factory LSD from the rear FF into the front axle with new 4:56 gears i got from Kurt.
He also redid all the bearings and knuckles and had it powdercoated while he had it apart.

I got home last night and called my neighbor early this morning to help me carry the axle into the garage.:p

I got it mounted , torqued down, front shackled, and ready to add some doo dads like the new Aisin hub dials i scored off ebay australia cheap. :hillbilly:

Next up are some mounted sneakers to get it rolling.

beautiful work here Joe.

What type of FF rear is that? I mean, what vehicle is it off of? A non-US market 60?

Nice work.

ha I can't wait for you to drive that thing thru a road salt winter....

The Disco forum is down the hall second door on the left...:flipoff2:
Not gonna see a salty road my friend. She's gonna be a spring summer fall tractor only.

Nice work.

I got the FF from fellow mudder Rapovt. He said he purchased a big crate of parts from the homeland including the rear. Has rear swaybar mounts and an LSD so it's probably a late model 60,61 or 62.

Looking good!

Wait, you had new dials?

Crap, I installed the best ones I had on the shelf. There were some banged up ones that coulda gone on there for transport purposes.

If you wanna send the old ones back, I'll send you a pair of rock-rashed dials. Such a deal!

Very nice Joe, love the details

Bet you can't name all the NLA parts in this box....:hillbilly:
