One step further and twin turbos? There is an AWD dyno right next to our shop we could have fun on.

I know I’ve been slacking, my wife loves driving it so much she hasn’t been willing to part with it for a couple days..... if I don’t start on it this weekend it will def be installed next week!
@Briano just got back to Santiago where I finally have some decent internet. Saw that you had a test run this weekend on the supercharger. Looks pretty good. I’m going to finalize the details when I return to the US tomorrow and hopefully have it delivered in a week or so. Looking forward to hear how your supercharger install fares in the next week or so.

Enlisted @Riverrunner services to get this truck back home. Even though we have never met (long overdue), he has been a part of so many of my acquisitions over the years. Aaron and I met a few years ago when I bought this 75 series Troopy out of Portland. At the time, I was very much an auto shipping novice and had just found a company online to handle things. Well, they didn’t turn out so hot. Aaron and I got in touch through Mud and he was able to help me out even though I did not hire him in the first place. Super great guy and has now been a part of every land cruiser purchase over the last 3 years or so (at least 10 and I might have forgotten a few).

Your new rig looks incredible, hopefully a trip to Colorado for a supercharger is in your future, I’d love to see It!

I was in Eric’s shop on Monday have to say that this rig is AWESOME! Looks incredible in person. My wife and I were purchasing a gently used LC(dnh1’s white one) and couldn’t stop looking at this Heritage. I’m even excited for you to get it! Eric‘s work is top-notch.

I’m happy you bought my white one!

Thanks for the kind words, John. I'm pretty sure I warned you on that first troopy that you may develop a problem...

Sooooo....I have not received the truck yet but I am thinking about the wheels and tires. We ended up running spacers with the 285/70/18 Nitto’s. I was initially considering running some 17” Icon wheels but decided to keep the Bronze HE wheels. I have never had a truck with spacers and just not really sure what to expect.

I also think the truck would look pretty slick with black rims. Maybe the black BBS rims? That doesn’t really solve my spacer concerns (should I even have any concern?).

IMHO... If any color looks great with gold/bronze wheels, it’s black. Spacers aren’t a big deal. My truck tracks and handles extremely well with them.

keep the bronze wheels. They look good dude! All black is too much.

My favorite part about your build is that you really don’t give AF about anything! It’s awesome. You must be a laid back dude. I love it.

I’ll swap you wheels if you want the black ones, but after seeing it in person (and I am very picky) it looks amazing. I honestly think you’ll be thrilled when you see it live. The spacers help a lot with these builds. If anything caught my eye, it would be that the spacers are blue, but they don’t really stand out at all. I agree with @dnh1 in that it would look really dark with black wheels. It’s funny, I also really like the icon wheels (bronze in particular), but l do like that the BBS wheels have an OEM play on the build. Although, the gunmetal icon wheels would also look good on the black.

Eric can powder your wheels bronze ...
