Man I hate seeing an 81 year model parted. There were very few of this year ever produced and sold in the US. Second in line for the radio . And did you (or a PO) swap out the front seats, door cards and seatbelt receivers? Interested in the seatbelt receivers as well. Those are all from a later model 60. I’ll send you a PM. Thanks. I would also like to ask if you still have the choke cable ('81 is compatible with early '82, which my truck is) as well as manifold temperature sensor (photo credit to @imyahucklbrry), and the three manifold bolts that connect intake to exhaust on the inner side of their mating surfaces? Think when he listed it for $2500 including the five speed then started a separate thread for the five speed think he lost his best chance of doing what he hoped and just making the whole thing go away quickly. I was very tempted when it included the five speed. Car hauler and a long day could have picked it up.

If I had seen this that day I would have bought the whole thing just for the transmission and t-fer case

i know, it was a good deal for sure with everything in one package. i thought i would of had some bites! i m going out to the fj now to pull the choke cable and sensor. i had interest in the manifold and he was coming to pull it himself. if he doesn’t come up here this weekend i’ll add the bolts as well. $50+ shipping for sensor and cable?

hey guys,
the intention to offer the whole package deal with the H55f to sell it all. Within minutes of listing it I had a buyer for the trans that would pick it up.

Without the H55F would have been very little chance of someone buying the rest whole for $1,500. Hopefully got at least $2,000 for the T&T to make it worth the hassle of parting it out.

The H55f was definitely the drawl, but made the right call in parting it out. i’ve met a lot of great members and it’s cool to get their FJs on the road again. learned some from pulling apart that motor too. will be posting pics soon of other parts that were pulled from suggestions.
