I didn't take as many pictures as I normally would on such a beautiful day, but I got a few. Thanks again to all the existing club members for having us along. It was a pleasure to meet everybody, both existing members and new. Thanks especially to those that organized the meet (Cheryl, Todd, Ali), and to those who brought sleds (Ali & ???). Our oldest hasn't been sledding since she was 3, and being bigger this time around, I think it made her day.

On the walk out to get the tree, our oldest enjoyed throwing herself into the soft white fluff... Tom and I fished her out many times over a 1/4 mile.

@BigFishAllDay Isabelle says "thank you" for letting her play with your puppy. Our old guy passed couple of weeks ago and she was yearning for a dog fix and your puppy fit the bill nicely.

Sad to hear that. He was such a great companion on every run. I forget how short our pets' lives are compared to our life expectancy sometimes

Looks like a great run without any of the previous years “excitement”...

I miss the Jemez runs with nice tequila shots afterwards at Los Ojos. :)

Thanks, he was 17yo and had a good life with us.

Sorry to hear Ash. He was a great one indeed! Him and old Raj got along well on weekend wrenching extravaganzas up at the house..

Those two sure made for great memories, didn't they? It was difficult not having him around on this snow run. Isabelle and I both felt the absence.

I meant to tell you I'm sorry to hear about your dog. Grace told me about your loss while we were out that day, I guess Isabelle mentioned it to her. Believe me, I know how tough it is to let them go. The whole reason we have a puppy is because our last dog, Luna, was hit and killed by a logging truck on Labor Day weekend. It happened right in front of the girls, and was a very hard day for our family.

Isabelle spoiled that puppy on Saturday, though. She gave him her sweater, and had hand warmers stuffed in there to keep him toasty. I think he would have gladly gone home with her.

Ash - very sad to hear that news. I have found that dogs can be the best of friends, sometimes better even than other people. I still miss our last one. My condolences on Riley (hope I am spelling his name correctly) - he was a good one!

Thank you Evan, Riley will be missed dearly. We made lots of memory together.
