anyone else planning on camping out? I think Matts bringing shrimp and im bringing some oysters and whatever fish I catch next week

I am REALLY looking foward to wheeling with some other Land Cruisers!!!

Better question is... is he driving the real land cruiser... or the cushy one. :)

:flipoff2: im driving the mall cruiser this time, I feel more comfortable off road with it, and plus my mall cruiser has lockers...you should have seen the Jeep guys the first time I rode with them..."Lexus makes a 4x4"

Hey guys sounds like ya'll are getting as excited as I am about the ride.

Dusther - Do you know if anyone will be leaving earlier than 10 PM on Saturday?

I sure there will be several ppl leave out earlier than that. But just in case there isn't remind me and I'll put up a flag at the one easy to miss turn to get back out.

You are driving the LX470? Only "Mall Cruiser" I have seen in your yard.:hhmm:

My brother and I are going to come over from Fairhope on Saturday. I am hoping my running board-less mall cruiser will enjoy the sand. There should be no issues with a stock and locked LX450 taking some of the trails, right?

Do I need to send some cash for the passes or just wait until Saturday?

A stock rig will be lots of fun.

Sliders would not have prevented any of my body damage at Eglin.

If you have a spotter that knows your rig it should not be an issue.

Other than the pics above I just ripped off flares.

The CDL switch comes in handy.

dang Robert your going to scare them off showing them those pics...:flipoff2:

a stock and locked LX should do fine, just remember if you have a spot where it looks sketchy then ask someone to spot for you, I think Matt usually goes ahead of every spot and parks and spots anyone who needs it.
heres a few pics of my LX stock

Eric, you can borrow my sliders if you want. The truck is disabled in the driveway right now so I don't think it will be taking any rocker panel damage parked there.

That would be awesome, but I would rather try to get your truck running.

Ouch.

Sounds good. Are bypasses for the bad stuff?

yeah there is :princess: trails around most things, but the creek is something you have to pass through(unless you go like 10 miles around it)...see above in previous posts for pics. But a locked 80 could do it no problem just make sure you hug the right side

Well I am at 10% chance right now. Depends on what happens in the next few days if i get time or not to work on Oswald. Short of it is wife's grandmother has a torn rotor cup, and is having surgery tomorrow. My usual baby sitter is her mother, so unless i get lucky i'm gonna be baby sitting. But i should get some limited mechanical work done. Might even have a turbo to get installed. :)
