I wanted to come live in the driveway one weekend, maybe "point and laugh" while folks worked. But it looks like I won't have a chance! You gone be done soon!

I got a radiator from Bodean. I had to do a little fab work on the radiator support, so I got that done and painted today.

Sorry E, we really haven't worked on it a whole lot on the weekends. Most everything has been during the week or on Sunday evening.

no worries broceephus! I'm pleased to see so much progress! You faster than Dan Hul... not that fast. Butchu quick!

I got the advanced adapters radiator in today, so I got it installed. It was a bit more involved than I expected. Had to move the radiator frame to the passenger side about 1 1/4" so the radiator would be fairly center of the mechanical fan. Also I lowered the radiator in the frame to get it centered on the fan. Fabbed up some brackets so hopefully I won't destroy the radiator. The clutch ended up about 3/4" from the radiator and the fan blades about 1 3/8". Is this enough room? Next on the list is to fan a shroud, do something for throttle cable, and battery tray.

That's close. Juss better make sure them mawter mounts NEVER let go... Ever ever.

Ask jeff old how close his fan is because it gets into something when he's flexed up.

How much trouble to move move the whole drive train back an inch? Is everything burned in and drive shafts built?

Ram horns came from Napa.

Can't move drivetrain back.

Yes everything is burned in, I could move the radiator forward about another 3/8"? It would take work....but it could be done.

So... looking at it. The blades are not that close to the radiator, the clutch fins are. I'm not entirely sure how much deflection you would need for that to dig in to the radiator fins since it's more tightly centered.
"CAUTION: Big Brains over here!"

That was exactly my thought E!

Yep! Big brains!
At this point alls you can do is put a plate in front of'er and let'er eat!

Clutch is kinda close but will probably work. Do you think you really need the clutch fan? The fan blades themselves are plenty far back. I wonder if there is a fan clutch with a shorter "hub"?

I researched a shorter fan clutch, I do not believe there is a such thing. I considered not running a clutch. Any thoughts?
I really don't see how it could move 3/4" to get into it. I am 100% sure the radiator will not move back, so that means the motor would have to move forward, can it move that much?

Shunt, you trippin if you don't think that drivetrain won't move sometimes even 2". Motor torque an inch body flexes an inch... you got two inches.
I would never run a metal fan after I've destroyed a couple plastic fans. Even once ran a fan with ZERO blades ALL weekend. Would hit an obstacle and then turn'er off. Of course, I don't like having nice things.
