i strongly dislike the front clip
i dislike you can't get the 1HZ under the bonnet
all in all 51%, a pass is a pass.

but

this does mean that i should be able to source the parts for converting a 77/78 over to a 4 door truck now.

I don't think that looks much like a Taco. The Tacomas are way more round, grille is massive and the fender flares are an eyesore.

So it could be Canadanization then.

I didn't mean to insinuate that the two were carbon copies however Toyota is "softening" up the fascia of the 70 Series much in the same way they did the Tacoma's over the years. Perhaps I am stuck in the past but I prefer the ole "squared" off look.
