Its been sitting 2 years what do I need to check?

2 4000+ ft. climbs, and 3 2000 ft. climbs in 4 hours... should be a hoot! oh and given this thing is reluctant to go more then 65 It will be about 4.5 hrs. I'm sure.

forgot to mention I'm giving the brakes some attention. were spending the week of thanksgiving there, and with the time I intend to replace the brake pads and shoes, and bleed the lines. just to make sure were cooking with gas.... or I mean not cooking anything................... ;)

yea... 2 miles from home is better then 200.... :)

should be a hoot. now to start looking at roof racks, and Paint to match this goldish beige champagne color... needs repainted... but dont they all?

I drove this trail ready FJ40, from South Lake Tahoe to Fresno in 105 degree heat...It was not easy but still fun for sure. Forgot to mention the windows wouldn't roll down:cool:

its been a while but I finally have the truck here. and moved to Bend OR now... paid a friend to tow it up. got it here, added a bunch of fresh fuel, fully cleaned the rig, and it fired right up. here is an after detail and driving a couple days picture. working on getting a rack off another Landcruiser I purchased... guess I have the bug now!

Where are you coming from and taking the rig?just curious.have fun on your road trip.i know that someone in the 60 forum that had an interesting trip from Sacramento to L.A at one point had to be rescued by Georg from Valley Hybrid.:)
 
had to take it from Redding CA to Bend OR. and ended up having it towed instead...
