Thanks Greg!

Very happy and may do a shake down run up Whistler to see what it's like this weekend. We'll see if I can find the time to fix the Pan leak first.

So are you still planning on twin screws then? Glad to hear you got this worked out, it's been a long road!

Well see, at this time I'm planing g of getting the smaller turbine housing first. This turbo should work for what I want then. It's just acting like a turbo that is too big right now. Requiring lots of fuel to make up for it turbine being too large.

Ah I see. Good to see you got this nearly worked out before the white stuff starts falling!

Yep looking forward to trying out the 3:1 low range gears and diesel in the snow this year. Should be fun!! Just need to get some 38x13.5 15's some float or 42's ;)

Good to see your so close to the finish line , well done on doing things the right way and meticulously going through everything.
I'm sure you will get many years of reliability out of it once you iron out a few teething problems.

Well I will pass that along to Liisa for sure. You know where to get parts in the future.

As for your oil leaks... get some black silicone from Isuzu... that s*** is incredible.

Yep know who to talk too now.

That sounds interesting, I got a tube of my default ultra Gray. May try that black stuff. How has the transition back been?

Work is familiar so easy transition, shop got new shiny floors now though haha.

I gave up on the grey stuff when I started using the Isuzu black, it's just good stuff.

Now if only I had brake lights and could drive my truck...

This is great! Need a video of it running all buttoned up!
It will be a bit still, I have the hardest part of the swap still to finish...... The last 5%.

That's good, glad they got it all pretty for your return ;)

I'll have to try the black stuff some time. I re did the oil pan and dizzy drive with the Gray stuff tonight. Seems to be leak free so far. Have not driven it more than 10ft though. Fingers crossed, don't want anymore oil showers.

Lisa was telling me about the tail light issues. Hope it's an easy fix. When we are both ready we should hit the trail one day. You m-f or t-s?

I'm going to spend tomorrow sorting out the light issues, annoying when I don't have the circuit diagrams and fuse assignments but I'll sort it out.

Certainly want to hit the trail but I'll have to see when I'm going to finish my body holes first, still one hole I duct taped shut when I reassembled to leave the coast. Once it's time there's a pair of OLC guys at work now with a truck and Jeep to cruise with.

You go finish your last 5% and I'll go finish trying to unbury my garage after this latest move.

Got the oil leaks stopped, test drove it a bit today and no oil leaks. I turned up the fuel a 1/2 turn and it's maxed out at 1030f full throttle for 40sec up a steep Hill it stopped moving after about 20sec. Pulled about 11psi max at about 2700rpm.

Oil pressure is perfect and coolant temp is solid at 170ish.

Going to be taking it on a 4 hour drive one way next weekend over two coastal mountain ranges. One Hill is a test of any cooling system so should be a good tests.

Really think this turbo needs that smaller housing it feels so lazy with the EGT's safe.

Nice..now get that exhaust housing on there to get that hard boost hit.

1030F EGT isn't much. I run mine to 750C (1380F) without problems. Remember the hotter you go the more efficiently your turbo runs.
