Hello everyone Im not much of a build thread person but here we go, Ive gotten a lot of inspiration from these build threads on here so Ill try to give back.

Picked up a 96 LX450 a week ago, it kind of just fell in my lap. Good price, zero rust and in solid shape for a 20 year old car. Im kind of a master of bringing old japanese cars back from the dead so i figured it was perfect. This guy has 245k on it so it will def need some TLC.

My first FJ but not my first off roader, had a LJ Rubicon a few years ago that all sorts of random issues and was my DD when gas was 4 bucks a gallon. So i did what everyone does with there jeeps and sell them as the same price they bought it for. Bought 15 wrx for a DD and been wanted to get back in a cheap 4x4 for fun for a while now. So here we are.

Old Jeep

New Ride day one. Always wanted a black car.

Lots of new parts already on it when I bought it, new alternator, battery, water pump, radiator, thermostat, blue fan. It needed a new starter (didnt always start and bottom bolt was not really in there it turns out) and a valve cover seal along with other small stuff. So first going through the maintenance items.

Valve cover off

Surprised it was even running on these old spark plugs.

Bought a fuel filter thinking it was going to be a walk in the park like every other car. I was wrong.

Knocked out the starter valve cover and other general stuff like cleaning this bowl out.

So here we are today. Running excellent and ready for some fun mods after a bit of from end work. Already purchased everything I need to redo the knuckes. That will suck but needs to be done.

Planning on a bunch of standard stuff at first.

Getting the interior cleaned up with some new seats and cleaning up the carpet.

OME 2.5 lift, 35's, ARB front and custom rear and side bumpers/silders. Im pretty decent at welding so Ill try to fab a lot of stuff myself. T

Also now I see the title is showing up on the pic so I wont keep writing the same thing twice lol. Till next time guys.

Made some progress on the monster Lexus over the past few months. Threw on some Geolander GT05 315/75/16s. They are huge though didn't rub on stock ride height.

Took it to my friends shop the next weekend and installed a used OME 2.5 lift I got for pretty cheap.

It's a heavy / med combo
Threw a snorkel on there as well cause why not.

Also recently added a 1" body lift and while you can't really see the difference you can tell it's there when stepping into it. Also a hell of a lot easier to work on underneath.

I broke the heater valve doing the body lift so I changed that and the PHH while I was at it. Also added the wits end spare lift kit and I'll add some photos of that when I find a used 35" to put underneath it. Looking pretty good now ready for a trip this weekend.

Nice to see the rig, looks great so far man!
