Mine had something like that installed once upon a time.

It was riveted on or had some kind of faster onto the body panels. I have since removed and welded up the holes.

Mine is a different style and not riveted.

Anyone know a good quality stick on moulding like this, it is a must have protection for me from door bumps at parking areas. It happens to hit right at this corner and chip the paint.

rock sliders are way better protection. i’ve had a few people bounce their doors off mine they stick out just far enough to stop my doors from getting hit. they also look better in my opinion
