Is this factory? 2nd gen 4runner

Just got my first 4runner, 1990 4wd MT. Body and interior are in great shape.

Baselining the vehicle and replacing all the ageing coolant lines. I found a line (removed before pics were taken) going from a nipple towards the bottom of the block (US d-side, just aft of the oil filter)

to a nipple behind the thermostat.

The hose is about 1/2" ID. I cant find it in my FSM or with a search online. The block nipple doesnt appear to be factory, but the thermostat nipple does.

Can anyone help me confirm if this is OEM? If it is, I could really use help with a Toyota PN for the hose.

That was my initial thought, but the nipple goes into the block, not the filter housing.

The oil cooler line I found for approximately that location is quite small, ~1/4" ID.

almost looks like those are cooler hose fittings.
the parts manual isn't showing another hose for the non cooler and ime there's no front nipple, which means there'd be no rear either.

Here is my oil filter, i dont see any provision for a coolant line:

I suspect its become a mix 'n match of parts over the years. Someone installed a cooler-enabled base beneath the thermostat housing, and installed that nipple in the block to take advantage of it.

The pic doesnt show all of it, but no hoses or anything attached to it. It just bolts to the block.

right. no cooler. i believe there should not be nipples.
i don't think there's an oe hose.
there should be a plug where the nipple goes
and there are two water pumps.
16100-69345 has the nipple
16100-69215 does not
