Is there an "ACTIVE VACATION" 80series package

i cant speak for the overseas markets and possible packages, but the tow package is more of a dealer add on, including trailer hitch and wiring but doesnt go as far as beefier brakes or better gears or any of the like.

I was curious. If this is true about the "tow package", then why does the manual say that you can tow 2000 more pounds if you have the tow package? I am not contradicting you, I am just trying to understand this about my 80.

Okay, that stove and sink is a pretty sweet setup.

In fact, they seem to even tease you if you were an amateur enough to require the usage of them.:D

Because lockers should be used "only to free your stuck vehicle in an emergency escape from the muddy road."

That Active Vacation setup is pretty cool. Yet another option that wasn't offered in the US market.

Here's some pics I saved on my HD awhile back...

Pictures pictures pictures!! Please :D

These pictures were taken in Japan while the Cruiser (1990 HDJ81) was for sale on consignment at KK Trading; I bought it at an auction later.

The deck is sturdy, with thin foam and covered in vinyl.

On the left is the sink, with pump/tap and fresh/waste containers below. The stove is in the swing out metal box.

I think there are some missng pieces that would have filled the void between the front/2'nd row seats.

Since there were no extra decals on the exterior, this may not be a real "Active Vacation" package.

They sell/sold many different "camping" kits aftermarket.

Mot :)

just one more thing they deny the US market..........................

Mot,

To the best of my knowledge they did not.

isn't your truck a GX model?

Not sure about all of the "Active Vacation" models coming with lockers or not.

That was a option?
That's just way to cool.
Why is all the good stuff never brought to the states?
Diesel, stick shift & now this...

Nice, but not $25K nice. Not sure if I would want to drive around with a spare tire cover that says "The Climax of 4WD"...
Just noticed the Active Vacation sticker in the rear window.

Wow. Aside from the wheel cover, at its heart it's a JDM turbo diesel with 55,000 miles on it. Right hand drive is a plus or a minus depending on who is buying it. It's a unicorn. Or a narwhal at least. Meaning, pretty darn unique. If you buy it you HAVE to name it the Narwhal. Forum requirements.

Not US legal til late 2019 at the earliest. I want it......:grinpimp:

That "The Climax of 4WD" makes perfect sense on a truck with a bed and curtains. That would save the hassle of applying the "if this truck's rocking don't come knocking" sticker.
