From time to time I end up need to drive with the rear glass open and that triggers one of the open door alarms.

Has anyone found this sensor that trips this alarm or know how to set the computer to not alarm when the rear window is open?

Thanks

GX*BOB (of course) very easy to take care of the alarm. I would not want to disable it permanently in case it really is open then I would want to be aware of it.

If you are just looking for some rear venting this product works well.

I looked at all the settings when I disabled my seatbelt alarm and found nothing. I sometimes haul 2x4's and 2x6's out the back so that door open thing is annoying.

When we stick a surfboard in and it hangs out the rear window, with the window open, I trip the latch with my Leatherman. You can use a screwdriver or whatever fits in there.
When you're ready to close it again, just push the (open) button and it'll release.

You could also splice the wire and install a simple switch to turn that off and on.

I just use an eye bolt what is similar diameter to the window latch and it works perfect. Our two yellow labs love riding around with the rear glass open. Just gotta make sure you have a fresh air source for the cabin as exhaust does get pulled into the passenger compartment.
