Help me diagnose scraping noise from the rear (2 Viewers)

I’m currently experiencing a sporadic scraping sound coming from the rear driver side, I’m assuming from the wheel given how it sounds ‘rotational’. The sound is most pronounced at slower speeds and goes away when I apply brakes. I inspected the pads and they appear to have plenty material left (they were replaced less than 20k miles ago. I don’t see any evidence of leaks and doesn’t appear to be the caliper as I don’t feel any dragging.

Any suggestions? Thx!

Did you also check your e-brake?

Yes. Replaced mine before the noise began. Happened on my 4Runner and was obnoxious. You described what a PIA the fix is very well. That tool is a keeper.
