Looking over my recent purchase, I just realized I may have missed something. There is a big empty spot in the engine compartment on the passenger side fender by the firewall. I even have some unused plugs. Please tell me this isn't something I need to buy that is emissions related. I have noticed on some pictures that some people install a battery here but I just want to make sure these plugs weren't supposed to be used for something. 2000 uzj100 if it matters.

2000 TLC? there's nothing there on mine. I've often wondered what "could" be there from the factory. Maybe they were pre-planning the AHC?

AHC lives there on my '99 LX

Yeah, that is where the AHC pump and reservoir is located. No emissions equipment up there.

the flux capacitor is stolen. the ahc pump suppose to go there if it was equip with it.

It would be the flux capacitor, I haven't gotten a truck with one still in place yet!

no, the Flux Capacitor was only on the 2003+ models. That's your Fetzer Valve. you're going to need some pliers and a set of 30-weight ball bearings.

Some on here have fit an ammo can in there to store stuff like jumper cables. Yet to do it on my new to me 100 but had it on my last one.
